Chelsea have finally sealed a deal for German international Kai Havertz, making the 21-year-old playmaker their club-record signing in a £71m deal.
Havertz put pen to paper on a five-year deal with Frank Lampard 's side and became their fifth first-team signing of the summer, joining Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva.
The deal takes Chelsea's outlay to around £200m and the spending is set to continue, with a new goalkeeper and West Ham's Declan Rice targeted.
