A major road in Salford has been taped off for hours following a serious crash involving a motorbike and pedestrian. Police have been at the scene on Albion Way since earlier this evening.
Emergency services descended on the area at around 7pm tonight (August 11) following the collision. Firefighters attended the scene alongside police, who closed off the road in both directions between Liverpool Street and The Crescent.
Officers have remained in attendance late into the night. A forensic tent was seen on Albion Way, around halfway between either end of the closure. It's not known if anyone has been injured following the collision. People have been urged to stay away from the area while traffic has been diverted away from the scene.
