Floyd Mayweather 's uncle, Roger Mayweather, has passed away at the age of 58. Roger, a former two-weight world champion in his own 18-year professional boxing career, proved a key member of nephew Floyd's training team over the years.
His health had been deteriorating for a number of years, nevertheless, with Floyd blaming the sport of boxing for damaging his brain back in 2015.
And TMZ Sports are now reporting that Roger has tragically died just over a month before his 59th birthday. Floyd, who was very close with his uncle, is said to be deeply emotional about his passing.
