A student who is being forced to retake a year at the University of Manchester, has received a huge public backing. The situation came about after Wenbin Gup, 22, was unable to take his Objective Structured Clinical Examination after being contacted by the NHS Test and Trace service.
Despite immediately informing the university and discussing the situation with them, the third year medical student has not been given another opportunity to resit the exam.
