Manchester United have Sir Alex Ferguson to thank for the 13 Premier League titles they won between 1993 and 2013, but the legendary Scot got a fair few decisions completely wrong.
The former Aberdeen and Scotland boss led the Red Devils from 21st to 11th in his debut season back in 1986/87 in what was a sign of things to come at Old Trafford, going on to lift the Champions League twice in both 1999 and 2008.
His reign included nine domestic cups, and to the untrained eye it might look as if he was perfect in all that being a manager entails, but that wasn’t the case.
