A host of grassroots sports facilities in Lanarkshire are set to benefit from a £500,000 cash injection from the UK Government.Five multisport venues across the county will see their facilities improved, significantly increasing the availability and access to high quality facilities for football and other grassroots sports.A total of 23 projects will receive a share of £2million as part of the UK Government’s ongoing investment in multi-sport facilities in collaboration with the Scottish Football Association.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
