Netflix has announced the release date of Black Mirror season six, including the titles of five new episodes. In April, the streaming giant announced the return of the dystopian series five years after its last instalment.
Created by writer and satirist Charlie Brooker, the sci-fi anthology series presents stand-alone dystopian stories that explore themes of contemporary techno-paranoia.
Often likened to a modern take on The Twilight Zone, it proved a huge success when it launched on Channel 4 in 2011 before moving to Netflix.
Speaking to Netflix, Brooker said the latest series will contain some unexpected twists alongside the “familiar Black Mirror tropes”.
