Greenock has been named as local man George Miller.Miller, 46, perished in the garden of a property in Union Street on the night of September 14 after what is understood to be a botched attempt to set fire to the home.In sick CCTV footage that emerged online the day after the blaze, Miller was seen moving around the garden of the property on Union Street in the town.
He disappears out of shot for a few seconds, before reappearing and carrying what appears to be a petrol canister. Miller is then seen moving towards the home before a horrific fireball explodes seconds later.
Then engulfed in flames, he falls to the ground as messages gloating over the grim scene appear across the footage.The distressing video, which the Daily Record chose.
