Fire crews battled a "large fire" tonight- amid concerns the blaze may cause road closures. Huge plumes of smoke were seen billowing into the sky in Bonnybridge, near Falkirk this evening, as the emergency services dealt with a business premises blaze.
And Police Scotland has now asked the public to stay away from the surrounding area - amid concerns they may need to close roads nearby the small village, which is close to Falkirk, Cumbernauld and Stirling.
There are no reports of any injuries.A force spokesperson said: "About 5.20pm on Wednesday February, 6, 2020, emergency services attended to a report of a fire at a business premises on Hillview Road, Bonnybridge."Local officers remain in attendance to support the Scottish Fire and Rescue
