Fire crews race to scene of flat blaze in Glasgow's Govan

dailyrecord.co.ukGlasgow. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene of the blaze on Govan Road just before 9pm on Monday August 17.
Video from the scene shared on the Facebook group Sunny Govan Memories shows a fire raging in the first floor home as a trail of black smoke billows out from a window.
Worried onlookers can be seen on the street below.Fire crews have since left the scene having contained the blaze.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a fire on Govan Road, Glasgow, at 8.59pm on Monday 17 August, 2020."Fire crews contained the blaze and the stop call came in to leave the scene at around 9.40pm.".
