The Inverness MSP is currently appealing his temporary suspension from the Nationalist group of MSPs at Holyrood.Ewing was handed a one-week ban after he supported a motion of no confidence in Scottish Government minister Lorna Slater earlier this year.
He has been a persistent critic of the powersharing agreement at Holyrood between the SNP and Greens.Ewing said today that Humza Yousaf needed to get the party back on course after its hammering in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election, which saw Labour achieve almost 60 per cent of the vote."He has a relatively short window between now and Christmas to turn this around.
