The family of a popular restaurant owner allegedly mown down by thieves who had stolen his car during a delivery say they are "devastated beyond belief" Mohammed Islam, 53, was struck by his own vehicle at around 9pm on Friday and died in hospital the following day, police say.
A boy, 14, remains in custody on suspicion of robbery and a murder probe has been launched. Mr Islam's devastated family paid tribute to him in a statement released through Greater Manchester Police (GMP) this morning.
