Facundo Pellistri could be handed an immediate role in Man Utd's first team following a chat between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and former Red Devil Diego Forlan.
The 18-year-old completed a deadline day move to Old Trafford from Uruguayan side Penarol, where he has been working under Forlan's management.
Pellistri was initially expected to join United's youth ranks to help further his development, but according to , Solskjaer is now considering drafting him straight into the senior set-up.
United have reportedly been keeping tabs on Pellistri for more than three years, but were finally persuaded to shell out £9million for his services.
