Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have delivered a direct message to Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after being rested from the start of their recent Premier League draw against Everton.
The Norwegian boss risked, and later received, stern criticism after leaving the Portugal icon on the bench for the first 60 minutes of their most recent league outing, which ended 1-1.
That came after previous warnings to fans from Solskjaer that the 36-year-old wouldn't be able to play every minute of every fixture, which didn't seem to please Sir Alex Ferguson.
Despite the veteran coming off the bench with 30 minutes to play, he wasn't able to have the desired impact which leaves United two points behind league leaders Chelsea.The Sun now report.
