Johnny Morrissey was led away from his Costa del Sol bolthole by an international police force who surrounded him in front of his partner, Nicola.The former Manchester doorman, who is an Irish expat, attempted to cover his face as photographers captured the embarrassing moment.Nicola, who is a CEO of a Scottish vodka firm allegedly connected to organised crime, made the bold gesture as she was escorted by armed cops.The sneaky couple appeared in court yesterday (September 14) after being in police custody for two nights.According to The Sun, Morrissey was held on suspicion of crimes such as money laundering following a huge operation led by Spanish cops.It has been reported that the 62-year-old was one of seven alleged Kinahan cartel members slapped with sanctions in April.He was also named by the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control.The US authorities said of Morrissey: “John Morrissey has worked for the Kinahan Organised Crime Group for several years, including as an enforcer, and facilitates international drug shipments for the organisation from South America.
