Brendan Fraser was the recipient of a very rare event at the 2022 BFI London Film Festival.

The 53-year-old actor’s new film, The Whale, got a standing ovation following the screening of the movie on Tuesday night (October 11) in London, England. Hunter to give his thanks to the audience who delivered a “lengthy and raucous” applause. The outlet notes that a standing ovation is very rare compared to other major European festivals like Cannes and Venice.
