For three years, single mum Fatima Laraaj and her two children have been moved around temporary housing in Manchester. The 31-year-old, whose children have complex needs, is struggling.
Last August, the family moved to a new property in Gorton. It came after a watchdog criticised Manchester council for putting her in an 'unsuitable and unsafe' flat.
The ombudsman found the town hall took 18 months too long to find suitable accommodation and failed to pay enough attention to her disabled son's needs.
The council was made to apologise and now owes Fatima £3,600 in compensation. But Faitma says her new home is still unsuitable.
