Last week, I found myself in the increasingly popular village of Craig-y-Don in Conwy, basking in a bright day that called for sunglasses.

It didn't take long to see that the cosmopolitan charm of this quiet corner of the region, reports North Wales Live. Gradually stepping out from the shadow of its neighbour, Llandudno, Craig-y-Don is carving out a reputation as an attractive destination for dining and shopping.

Its proximity to the stunning North Shore only adds to its appeal. After parking, I took a leisurely stroll along the Prom, admiring the sun-kissed slopes of the Little Orme on this dazzlingly sunny afternoon.

Venturing into the village, I was greeted by a truly international array of cafes and independent shops.
