Matheus Cunha has a £60million release clause in his Wolves contract that can be activated in the summer amid transfer interest from Manchester United.
The 25-year-old, who joined Wolves on a permanent deal from Atletico Madrid for £35m in July 2023, has attracted attention for his performances since making the move to Molineux.
After netting 14 times in 36 matches in his first full season at Wolves, he has added a further 12 goals and four assists in 25 appearances this term.
There was increased speculation that Cunha might leave Wolves in the January transfer window, with Arsenal, Tottenham and United linked.
