Yerry Mina will miss the start of the Premier League restart. The Everton defender is expected to be sidelined for a number of weeks.
Colombia international Mina has suffered a partial tear in his left thigh. It is another injury blow to the Toffees, before the resumption of the Premier League season.
The ex-Barcelona centre-half has established himself as a regular in the current campaign, which is set to restart on June 17, after an injury-hit 2018-19 season, his first with the Toffees after joining.
However, Mina will now join Jean-Philippe Gbamin on the treatment table after suffering a muscle injury in training last week.
