Two major Greater Manchester events have been cancelled with the region expected to be hit by heavy wind and thunderstorms this weekend.
The Met Office is predicting rain throughout the weekend, while thunder and lightning is expected on Saturday (July 15). Wind speeds are also set to ramp up over the weekend.
It has led to the cancellation of two major events in Tameside. Tameside Pride, at Cheetham's Park in Stalybridge, has been cancelled due to the forecast.
The annual celebration of the borough's LGBTQ+ community had been due to take place from midday tomorrow (Saturday).
