Usually, when a film sees its release date bumped from 2020 and into 2021, we’re talking about a blockbuster. At the very least, it seems to almost always be a movie designed to make a bunch of money.
The ones hoping to contend for awards, and especially the ones who already seem poised to score nominations at minimum from the Academy Awards, haven’t changed their dates too much.
Well, today we have news on a few independent flicks that are opting to take this route, including one in The Father that seems like a fairly big contender for multiple Oscar citations.
