Escape to the Country fans were left scratching their heads in confusion as a recent episode saw a couple buy a 'tiny' house priced at a whopping £1million.
In the latest instalment of the much-loved BBC series, which aired on Monday (September 2), presenter Jules Hudson returned to help a Kentish couple find their perfect rural retreat in Cornwall.
Married pair Nikki and Chris had a budget set between £700,000 and £900,000, and were in search of a three-bedroom house complete with generous land.
After house-hunting, the couple became smitten with a property boasting a £1m price tag. Whilst it may have appeared to tick all the boxes with its expansive land and additional annex, viewers expressed concern for Chris due to its challenging low ceilings.
