Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United will hope to get over their Champions League disappointment quickly when they travel to Newcastle United this weekend.
The Reds' 3-3 result at Galatasaray left Erik ten Hag's men at the bottom of Group A knowing only a victory over Bayern Munich, coupled with a draw between the Turkish side and FC Copenhagen on the final matchday will be enough to qualify for the knockout stages.
While the result was far from ideal, especially having twice squandered a two-goal lead, there was good news on the injury front.
Rasmus Hojlund and Antony both returned and featured without any consequences in Turkey. Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford will be welcomed back into the fold after serving his one-match European suspension.
