Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Erik ten Hag has confirmed Marcus Rashford failed a late fitness test to be involved in Manchester United's game against Fulham.
United take on Fulham in the Premier League in the early kick-off on Saturday afternoon and although Rashford travelled with the squad to Craven Cottage, he's not been named in the starting team and he's not on the bench.
Rashford is absent from the squad despite being present with the team at Fulham and he'll watch the game from the stands. We tested him this morning but it was not good enough. He's not fit." The reporter proceeded to reference Ten Hag's comments saying it was 'unacceptable' Rashford attended a birthday party after the Manchester derby and they asked whether he would have started if he'd been fit.
