Celtic are reportedly monitoring midfielder Wataru Endo with Liverpool "open minded" to a sale following the arrival of Arne Slot.Former Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has been taking admiring glances at some of the Reds' players this summer with both Owen Beck and Bobby Clark touted with a move to the Scottish Premiership champions this summer - and 31-year-old Endo is the latest to be tipped with a switch north.
Reports suggest that boss Slot doesn't see the midfielder as key part of his squad going into the new English Premier League campaign this weekend with the club now willing to listen to offers for the Japan captain.
Both Ryan Gravenberch and Stefan Bajcetic are ahead of Endo in the pecking order - with The Sun reporting wants to play regular first-team football this season.
While Celtic and Marseille are both named as interested parties the £15million asking price could "put off" the Hoops. In terms of defensive cover, the door remains open for Burnley star Dara O'Shea. Record Sport revealed at the start of July that the Hoops want to make a summer move for the stopper.
