Coronation Street star introduced Brendan Cole, Naga Munchetty, Amanda Byram and Adam Thomas onto the show in an attempt to raise money for their chosen charity.

And the show got off to a great start when the Total Wipeout star managed to add £5,000 to the joint jackpot after beating Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett in the intense one-to-one round.But the show quickly turned to chaos when the soap star struggled to correctly answer one question in the high-pressure lightening round.

It was at this point that the TV star confessed he “didn’t know why he left” Emmerdale after eight years playing the role of Adam Barton.
