The character, played by Natalie J Robb, has injuries viewers believe she can't possible recover from about being run over at 90mph.
Wendesday's episode saw her mown down in a hit-and-run carried out by Jamie Tate, who was speeding to track down wife Andrea.
And things looked utterly bleak for her on Friday night's trip to the Dales, with the episode ending with her heart rate blipping along on a monitor while she breathed through a ventilator.
