Emergency services swarmed a residential street in Rochdale before 20 homes were evacuated following a 'gas leak' incident on Tuesday (August 13).
Police and fire crews cordoned off Oswald Street shortly after 3pm, as homeowners were told to immediately vacate their homes amid investigations into the incident.
Gas distribution network Cadent also attended, as emergency services vehicles were seen lining the street, close to Yorkshire Street.
