Police say he was crossing the road using a three-wheeled walker when he was hit. The pensioner was then rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but despite medics' best efforts, he sadly lost his life yesterday morning.The 32-year-old female driver of the Ford Kuga was not injured.A Police Scotland statement read: "His relatives are aware and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."Enquiries in to the incident are continuing."Constable Gemma Blackadder, Motherwell Road Policing Unit, has also appealed for.
