Edinburgh Zoo has announced the name of its newest swamp wallaby joey.The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) shared the news on Monday morning that the adorable baby wallaby is called Kermit.
Alongside the announcement, the RZSS also shared a cute photo of the youngster.The eight-month-old joey was born to parents Kaitlyn and Kindal.
She is now fully out of her mother's pouch and can be seen at Edinburgh Zoo's Wallaby Walkthrough.According to the zoo's website, it is now home to seven swamp wallabies including Kermit and her parents.
The other wallabies who live at the Wallaby Walkthrough are Allibo, Marcello, Allora, and Luca.Kermit and the other swamp wallabies are able to be adopted through the RZSS website.
