Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta's recent comments appear to suggest he favours Eddie Nketiah over Alexandre Lacazette due to the youngster's work-rate and ability to press.
Nketiah started ahead of Lacazette in the 2-0 win over Southampton, and the 21-year-old scored the game's opener after closing down goalkeeper Alex McCarthy's pass and tapping home in an empty net.
Lacazette, meanwhile, has not played a full 90 minutes since football resumed amid speculation he could be on his way out of Arsenal at the end of the season.
