easyJet has issued a travel warning to holidaymakers flying today (Friday September 1) and tomorrow as train drivers walk out across the country.
The airline has urged passengers to make sure they find alternative travel options to get to their airport so that they do not miss their flight.
Trains will be operating on reduced services due to the 24-hour walkout by members of Aslef, which is affecting 13 operators including TransPennine Express, Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry and Thameslink.
On Saturday an overtime ban is in place, coinciding with a strike by the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) in its dispute over pay, jobs and conditions.
