Ryanair has issued a fresh travel warning to travellers today (Wednesday 20) as strong winds and rain continue to affect the UK.
The airline has warned travellers that there could be delays due to high winds. It comes as the Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for wind and rain.
Warnings for rain are in place across the north west, Wales and the south east, while a yellow warning for wind is in place in western Scotland.
Passengers flying today are being urged to check with the Ryanair app before making their way to the airport. In a statement on its website, Ryanair said: “Some potential delays to/from the UK (Tuesday September 19 and Wednesday September 20) due to high winds."
