EastEnders star Melissa Suffield has stripped down to her underwear on social media as she shares a candid clip in a bid to promote body confidence. The 29-year-old actress, who played Lucy Beale on the popular BBC One soap, can be seen throwing off her grey robe triumphantly to reveal a set of black lingerie. As she looks into the camera confused, the words “When you see people judging you” appear on screen before she throws her arms up in the air and begins miming the lyrics to the empowering song Free by Ultra Nate. The curvaceous star smiles and jumps up and down with excitement as the words “do what makes you happy” and “And you deserve the world” appear on screen. The mum-of-one captioned the video: “Whether it's what you look like, how you parent, who you love, or if it's jam or cream first on a scone, everyone always has an opinion.“And often, it can seem judgemental and critical- especially when it's vocalised without request.

But it's OK to do things differently from one another. In fact, it's GREAT. Even if it isn't what Brenda from next door would do.”She went on to suggest ways to battle unwanted opinions from the public and the importance of setting boundaries.“A great way to deal with unwanted opinions and critique is to set some clear boundaries and have some statements ready to rock and roll.“Along the lines of 'thanks, but what we do really works for us' or 'my way makes me happy' or (if you're feeling particularly fierce that day).“I'm not currently looking for suggestions, but if I ever do I'll be *sure* to give you a buzz.”She finished the empowering post by encouraging her followers to do whatever makes them happy.“Keep doing whatever it is that makes you happy.
