EastEnders bloodbath confirmed as Walford resident gets shot in gun showdown horror

EastEnders fans can expect plenty of drama next week as one Walford resident gets shot.Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Sharon Watts (Letita Dean) prepare for the grand opening of Peggy’s and despite being sacked, Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) orders the staff around.Seeing an opportunity, Kat and Sharon leave Sam alone with a long list of issues to sort.Sam later gives Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) the keys as she rushes off to get ready and Dotty tells Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) the coast is clear.Sharon and Kat bond as they work together to get everything ready but their happiness is short-lived when they arrive to see Shirley has trashed the club as payback for all the times the Mitchells have hurt her family.Shirley warns them she won’t stop with her vendetta but they are stopped in their tracks when two men enter waving a gun.As Shirley takes cover in the office, Kat and Sharon panic and try to call Sam for help but a gunshot rings out.Chaos ensues at the club as Sharon and Kat reel from the warning shot.Shirley panics when she realises the thugs want the safe where she is hiding and tries to reach Dotty.A confident Sam enters and refuses to back down to the men’s demands, telling them to pass a defiant message on to Jonah.However realising their threats are serious, Sam eventually gives in and takes them to the safe but things quickly gets out of control leaving someone shot.Elsewhere in Albert Square, Ben and Jay return home but it doesn’t take Kathy long to realise Ben is struggling.

Ben reluctantly agrees to take Lexi to a Pride fair but as they get ready, Peter drops off a box of lost property and Lexi pulls out the shirt Lewis was wearing on the night of the attack.
