The track, which is called The Real Max Branning, was created by a fan of EastEnders, who specifically sought permission from actor Jake Wood for the song.
Speaking to The Daily Star, Jake explained how the fan reached out to him on Twitter asking if he could have the honour of penning a tune about him. ‘There’s a guy who has written a song called ‘The Real Max Branning’,’ he recounted. ‘He tweeted me a while ago to ask, ‘Are you all right if I do a song about you?’ His name is Sir Dossa and he DM’d me on Twitter ages ago.’ ‘He said, ‘Hi Jake, random one but I’m working on a new tune called ‘The Real Max Branning’
