EXCLUSIVE: Just a few months into its time on Netflix, the Millie Bobby Brown-led fantasy pic Damsel has entered into the streamer’s list of Most Popular Top 10 Films (English) at #8, with 137.2M views after 87 days.
After debuting on the streamer on March 8, Damsel spent six weeks in the Global Top 10 Films List and reached the Top 10 Films in 93 countries.
The film subsequently enjoyed the biggest week of viewership for any Netflix flick since the Knives Out sequel Glass Onion at the tail end of 2022, with over 50M views in its second week in the Top 10, where views are defined as total hours viewed divided by the total runtime. “I am beyond thrilled to see Damsel reach Netflix’s Top 10!” said Brown in a statement to Deadline. “I’d like to share a heartfelt thank you to the fans – it is incredibly rewarding to witness so many people enjoying the film and connecting with its story and strong female lead.
