Self-made billionaires Mohsin and Zuber Issa joined TDR Capital to acquire a majority ownership stake in one of Britain's "big four" supermarkets last year.

The pair made their fortune after buying a petrol station in Bury and went on to become the first British owners of Asda in 20 years.

The Issa brothers are worth more than £3bn and have just bought the supermarket giant for £6.8bn, LancsLive reports. Mohsin, 49, and Zuber, 48, from Blackburn, are the entrepreneurs behind the Euro Garages
