Dumfries and Galloway Multicultural Association holds Turkish Day

dailyrecord.co.ukTurkish Deputy Consul General to Scotland Mrs Demet Kayaoğlu was the guest of honour at a special event in the Dumfries and Galloway Multicultural Association’s calendar on Saturday.
Accompanied by Mr Atakan Dogan, Education Attach at the Turkish Consulate in Edinburgh, she joined in the fun of a Turkish Day held at the DGMA’s headquarters in the former Debenham’s building on Dumfries’ High Street.
And the centre made it a town-wide event by inviting the public to join in the cultural celebrations with music, food and plenty of fun.
Sitki Nalci, chief executive officer of DGMA, was delighted with the success of the event and grateful to the distinguished visitors for supporting the endeavour.
