Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Motorists are urged to check their lights ahead of the clocks going back on October 30. More drivers will find themselves commuting during dark mornings and evenings, so should ensure that all lights are in good working condition.

If a motorist misuses or has faulty car lights, it could result in a £1,000 fine and three penalty points for failure to have proper control of the vehicle or full view of the road and traffic ahead.

Claire Rogan at Peter Vardy said: “Drivers are less likely to use their car lights throughout the summer months which can lead to issues when autumn hits and lights need to be used more frequently. “Drivers should check that all their car lights are working correctly ahead of the clocks going back, if they are not this could put themselves and other road users at risk." The motoring experts also analysed search data and found that there was some confusion around when and how car lights should be used.

Here are some of the popular queries that the experts uncovered, as well as their expert guidance.Rule 226 of the highway code states fog lights may be used when visibility drops below 100 metres (328 feet) and you MUST switch them off when visibility is improved.
