Manchester United have suffered a fresh blow in their bid to sign Jadon Sancho following comments from Borussia Dortmund’s transfer chiefs.
The Red Devils are hopeful of landing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's No.1 target, valued at £106m. But Süddeutsche Zeitung, a Munich newspaper, claim Sancho will probably stay at Dortmund.
And the club’s managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke is quoted as saying: “So far, there has been no contact between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United in terms of Sancho.“Also not indirectly or through alleged intermediaries."Sporting director Michael Zorc also adds: “I assume that Jadon will go to the training camp on Monday and play with us for the coming season.”Dortmund are determined to stick to their price-tag,.
