Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke insists his side do not need to sell star winger Jadon Sancho despite the club recording a loss of £45million for the 2019/20 season.
Dortmund's finances, like those of teams across Europe, have been severely hit by the coronavirus outbreak, with the loss of matchday income sorely felt.
Meanwhile, Sancho has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. The 20-year-old England international reportedly agreed personal terms with the Red Devils but the club were reluctant to meet Dortmund's £108million asking price.
Sancho has since linked up with his teammates at Dortmund's pre-season training camp and the club declared he would not be sold.
