Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. (born November 20, 1942) is an American politician who served as the 47th vice president of the United States from 2009 to 2017 and represented Delaware in the U.S. Senate from 1973 to 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

Donald Trump’s desperate bid to cling to power with lies and accusations continued last night even as it became clear Joe Biden was on course to replace him.

But while the hysterical President lashed out with further false claims of election-rigging, his Democratic rival threatened to have him evicted from ­the White House if he refuses to go.

Mr Biden had trailed the ­Republican in the key states of Georgia and ­Pennsylvania but by yesterday had overtaken him as voters rejected the man who has divided America with his toxic leadership.

Even members of Mr Trump’s own Republican party blasted him after he gave a rambling address from the White House accusing opponents of cheating and trying to “steal” the ­election from him by counting
