Domestic abuser jailed for 32 years for terrifying meat cleaver attack

Cleon Smith had previously battered the woman so badly that she now has a permanent metal plate inserted into her face which holds her eye socket in place.
The thug was sentenced to 32 years after being found guilty of attempted murder and six other offences at Birmingham Crown Court on September 16.
He was also handed a restraining order against all of those affected by his crimes, reports Birmingham Live.His campaign of horror began just days after Christmas in the early hours of December 27, 2019.
