DOI's Matt Richardson jokes Christopher Dean 'broke his face' after nasty accident

Dancing On Ice recruit Matt Richardson joked tonight that Christoper Dean had "broken his face" - after the veteran skater's training technique landed him with a concussion and a black eye.

Tonight marks Matt's Dancing On Ice debut after Rufus Hound was forced to pull out of the competition. And in training, visiting judge Christopher helped out Matt with a trick to stop him moving his arms by holding a pole.

Unfortunately the pole got tangled with the blades of his skates and he took a tumble onto the hard ice. After his first performance, he racked up a respectable 23.5 out of a possible 40 - with Chris awarding him the lowest score of the judges with a five. "How do you feel now it's done?" Phillip Schofield asked Matt. "I've got a dry
