Dog the Bounty Hunter and fiancée Francie Frane have revealed more about their emotional first conversation together. The now-engaged couple opened up about how their first phone call to each other saw their talk grow increasingly tearful as they discussed their late spouses.

Both had recently lost their partners, with Dog - real name Duane Chapman - losing his wife Beth Smith to throat cancer in 2019, meeting Francie over the phone after trying to get in touch with her husband Bob Frane for his excavating business.

However, as Francie delivered the emotional news that her beloved Bob had passed away, this led to Dog opening up about his own recent loss and there were tears being shed.
