Distraught dad begs government for help getting his newborn triplets out of Kenya

dad has begged the Irish government to get his newborn triplets out of Kenya after a surrogacy service suddenly demanded more cash.

Edward O’Reilly, 33, has launched a desperate plea to bring his daughters home after they were born prematurely via surrogacy in Nairobi on September 1.

The father said he handed the agreed sum of €50,000 (£43,637) to the service, but once he arrived they made him pay a further €16,000 (£13,957). Edward said he pleaded with the Irish Embassy in Kenya for help while he was there but eventually left the country last week without his children.He also told of a further distressing incident in which he was violently beaten on the streets and said he was left fearful for his life.Edward said it will be easier to raise the funds in Ireland than in Kenya and said he plans on returning as soon as possible to get his kids home.“Instead of getting on the plane with three babies, I’m coming back with three birth certs," he explained.“I’ve come back to an apartment full of baby stuff, cots, prams, and clothing.
