Hollywood star has revealed how her nose job stopped her from getting roles.Speaking to People magazine, Jennifer revealed how it was her mother who encouraged her to get the procedure done in order to star in more films in the future. She told the publication: “It became the thing, the idea of being completely invisible, from one day to the next.

I'm the world’s eyes, I was no longer me.“And the weird thing was that thing that I resisted my whole life, and the thing I was so upset with [was] my mother for always telling me I should do my nose.“I really thought it was capitulating.

I really thought I meant surrendering to the enemy camp. I just thought, ‘I’m good enough. I shouldn’t have to do this.’ That’s really what I felt. ‘I’m beautiful enough’.”The actress also discussed the sensitive topic in her new memoir, Out of the Corner, where she explained how she effectively “banished” herself from Hollywood fame.Jennifer painfully admitted: “Overnight I lose my identity and my career.”“I spent so much energy trying to figure out what I did wrong, why I was banished from the kingdom.

That’s a lie. I banished myself.”The actress starred in the classic movie Dirty Dancing in 1987 through the role of Baby alongside Patrick Swayze. But despite the huge success of the award-winning movie, the brunette beauty didn’t go on to land any lead roles moving forward.
