Deborah James has revealed that she is fighting to stay awake so that she complete her 'death admin list.' This comes after the heartbreaking news that the BBC podcaster has been moved onto end of life care for Bowel cancer.

Deborah, now 40, was just 35 years old when she diagnosed with stage three bowel cancer in December 2016, which later turned into stage four.

Deborah raised awareness for cancer throughout her journey, starting a podcast and a column for The Sun. She shared with her Instagram followers that her "body wasn't playing ball" and that she is now receiving hospice care at home.

In her final episode of podcast, You, Me and the Big C she told producer Mike Holt: "I’m currently in the stage of doing death admin. "I remember distinctively Rachel talking about it and saying 'god when you die there is a lot of death admin to do'. "There’s things that I knew I wanted to do and recording one last thing with you was one of them." The star also spoke about how she is around three quarters through her list, but one thing that needed sorting is a book she has been writing.
